Hawks roasted by Heat as Miami take a 2-0 lead

Jimmy Butler exploded with 45 points to guide Miami to a 2-0 lead over the Hawks in the NBA Playoffs . It was another huge win for the Heat and a shock for the Hawks who were looking to bounce back from the loss in Game one.


Both sides were super competitive.The Heat had an earlier run but the Hawks caught up with them. Trae Young found his groove again after a slightly disappointing Game one.He had 18points in the first half.Both Kyle Lowry and De'Andre Hunter got a technical for jawing in the second quarter as tensions ran high between them.


Heading into the fourth quarter, Miami was leading by 16points, 94-78 with less than 9 minutes to play. The gap reduced significantly courtesy of good team play as Hawks put a 12-0 run. Bogdan Bogdanovic being the charge for that run with 10 points.


With less than three minutes to play, the Hawks were red hot and seemed to take it away from the Heat as they were just behind with three points.


Jimmy Butler carried the Heat to win with a play-off career high 45 points on 15-of-25 shooting,4-of-7 three pointers and 11-of-12 at the free throw line.He added five assists and five rebounds.

On the Hawks side, it was a worthy effort by Bogdanovic who ended the night with 29 points,4 rebounds and 3 assists and was followed closely by Young with 25 points,6 rebounds and 7 assists. Miami Heat winning 115-105.
