Gunners Kane-d in North London Derby

It was another North London derby where Tottenham Hotspur had a resounding 3-0 victory over Arsenal as they push for UEFA Champions League qualification.
This win ensured that Tottenham continue their unbeaten streak against their city rivals to now eight matches.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was set up for this heated rivalry that could decide where both teams finish at the end of the season. It was the home team who set the pace earlier in the game having plenty of the ball and several attacks to the opposition.
Arsenal shot themselves on the foot when Cedric Soares fouled Son Heung- Min in the box and Spurs were awarded a spot kick. The penalty was dispatched by Kane into the corner sending Ramsdale in the opposite direction. The home fans were jubilant as they sailed ahead.
Arsenal made a response with Granit Xhaka sending a teasing cross into the box but Hugo Lloris intercepted it. On 26th minute, Rob Holding is cautioned with a yellow card on a foul he committed earlier on Son. Barely 10 minutes later, Holding receives his matching orders as he is sent off with a second yellow card after elbowing Son who seemed to have made his way past the defender. Arsenal down to ten men and down a goal too with 34 minutes played. It was time for Spurs to use their numerical advantage with more than an hour of derby football to play.
With eight minutes to end the half, Kane with a diving header at the back post from a flicked header by Bentancur to make it 2-0 heading into the break.
The last nail on the coffin was struck by Son just after the restart as he pounced on a loose ball in the box and poked it home over the outstretched arm of Aaron Ramsdale to make it 3-0.It was all crumbling down for Mikel Arteta’s men. Hotspurs humiliating their city neighbors and could even have had more goals in this.
This win moves Antonio Conte’s team within one point of Arsenal in fourth. Next for Tottenham is Burnley at home whereas Arsenal are visitors to St. James Park against Newcastle.
